I dread the darkness, the coming of the night

Because every time I have this battle, this never ending fight

The demons that dwell within my mind

Are taking over my soul, destroying everything kind

But on my side your whispers said softly

A sigh of breath that resonates so loudly

A show of affection, a force for good

Your light, your warmth so misunderstood

You fill my dreams with something happy

Your whispers in the night bring me, back to me
